I received my daily ShopBop.com newsletter. Today's highlights: "4 Styles in Heavy Rotation." Such styles are very accommodating to Ms. Lauren's previous posting about the Concert Czar. So let's just stereotype the modern concert goer... Yes many of them go in jeans and a t-shirt, but now it's utterly "cool" to go in 80's shredded leggings and shirts, and in acid wash denim. To me, that is what the new age concert goer would rock out in, and why not? Who knew it would return back into the fashion cycle?
Take for example: Ms. Miley Cyrus in her ripped leggings out to the grocery!
and Lady Gaga. a concert performer.
I personally do not think the shredded legging trend would suit my vertically challenged stature (it would only make my short, stubby legs look like they are ripping out of the seems). So my personal take, slightly more banal to the trend, on the perfect concert outfit to suit this 80's retro style would look like this:
