Weekend Anticipations!

Friday: that glorious word that defines the final day of the work week (for most). Not only am I thrilled for the events of this upcoming weekend (Lily Allen concert anyone?!), I’m also looking forward to simply relaxing, walking about the city and enjoying the markets, Sunday brunch and divine espresso pick-me-ups. Last weekend, Easter Sunday, I had the pleasure of a leisurely afternoon, enjoying a delicious & artistically prepared mocha from Peregrine Espresso with a good book, all while perched atop a picnic table outside the Library of Congress in downtown Washington, D.C. The fading Cherry Blossom trees still kept good company and the sun was warm and strong. C’etait magnifique!
