Friday: that glorious word that defines the final day of the work week (for most). Not only am I thrilled for the events of this upcoming weekend (
Lily Allen concert anyone?!), I’m also looking forward to simply relaxing, walking about the city and enjoying the markets, Sunday brunch and divine espresso pick-me-ups. Last weekend, Easter Sunday, I had the pleasure of a leisurely afternoon, enjoying a delicious & artistically prepared mocha from
Peregrine Espresso with a good book, all while perched atop a picnic table outside the Library of Congress in downtown Washington, D.C. The fading Cherry Blossom trees still kept good company and the sun was warm and strong.
C’etait magnifique!
