bleh.Let's be serious, I am admitting to wearing those Skechers platform sneakers to middle school, and I used to wear those clunky Steve Madden sandals and slip on shoes, but what normal consumer would dare to wear these Michael Kors "Crystal" platform sandals, and pay $525.00? I mean maybe you could wear some wide-legged trousers to hide the ugliness of the shoe and gain the height it can give you, but if I wore these on Charleston cobblestone streets I would definitely be in the ER for a broken ankle or busted face. Also, I don't think I would pay $500.00 for those shoes which will probably go on sale next week.
Why not just try these on for size if you are really into the platforms:

These Carla Bis "Ash" Platform Wedges are MUCH easier on the eyes. Probably more practical in your wardrobe and at $174.00 much easier on your wallet. There is more longevity in this shoe since the platform trend will die down and those stuck with the Michael Kor's "Crystal" will have to save them for the 70's bell-bottom costume parties.
